WW2 Week - July 23-30 2013

August dates - August 6-13, August 13-20 & August 20-27
- These are all FREE CHOICE WEEKS. If you want a different mix of games then we are happy to switch the game mix if you get in first. You can book solo, or if you are a club contact us and ask about our discount packages.
- An apartment, which can sleep up to three adults, costs just 36 pounds per night including breakfast. Each of the four days of gaming costs only 50 pounds and you do not even need to bring dice!

- So what is on the agenda for 2013? First and foremost is our ambitious Anglo-Zulu War project. Played over two days, we start with a truly vast 6,000 figure 15mm refight of Isandlwana. On the second day, we focus in on Rorkes Drift in 28mm with every defender represented and hordes of Zulus. - The second new addition is French and Indian Wars. We have created a massive forested landscape, studded with settlements and forts. Hundreds of Woodland Indians and French irregulars aim to descend on the British to cause chaos and mayhem.
General information
Our holiday schedules are flexible. Each combination of games can be adjusted to suit whole groups, clubs or groups of friends.
We have a maximum capacity of 6-8 paying wargamers, but non-players are more than welcome, including partners, spouses and children.
Crete is a holiday island and not only is there the pool, but the beach, shops, bus stop and taxi rank are all easily reached for sightseeing and shopping.
Wargaming ends at 6pm, so evenings are free for partners, spouses and socialising in the nearby tavernas, or on the veranda of Adonis Apartments. View photos of Adonis Apartments, the local area, Crete and Wargaming facilities.
Car hire can be arranged for those wishing to venture further afield on the free days.

How our Wargaming Holidays work
Transport
You arrange your flight to Heraklion and we meet you at the airport. There are charter flights from most airports. Easyjet, Olympic and other airlines fly scheduled flights direct to Heraklion every day from April to end October. Alternatively there are domestic flights to Heraklion from Athens several times a day with Olympic Airways and daily ferries from Piraeus and other Greek islands.
We take you back to the airport in time for your check-in on your departure day.
Our pick up and drop off service saves you 70 Euros in taxi fares.
Accommodation
You pay for your accommodation in cash on arrival in Gouves. Accommodation is per apartment, not per person. The apartments will comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 12.
Accommodation prices include breakfast and maid service.
Gaming
Wargamers pay an additional gaming fee for the week on booking confirmation. Other guests pay no more than the accommodation price.
Flexibility
Wargame Holidays are flexible. If you book a whole week, you can have any combination of games you like from the list. We can offer week-long campaigns from the same period, or even quick change-over, one-day taster specials. We will continue to add new periods and combinations as the collections are ready to use.
